It feels emotional creating work about my dad. Remembering all the early morning walks on the beach, the fishing trips off the rocks, riding his motorbike up to Cape Hawk and making our way through the bush to find the secret beaches between the vast headlands of the coast. We used to be so close. I surely do miss being a kid sometimes.
